![]() ![]() Is there a flying one? Is one like a motorcycle? How out of place will they actually look on some heroes, like Kir'ko or Assembly just straight up in a generic imperial vehicle. I just wonder what they look like and, much like the faction vehicles, how you get them. Thirdly, I have a question about the baseline set of vehicles you can get a hero to pilot. Does this mean that it applies only to tier III, or does it apply to tier III and IV, or tier II and III? Can any hero get the piloting skill when they level up or is it a "path" you take, or a loadout that can't be changed? Do heroes show up with predetermined loadouts or do you select them through skill points? That almost seems to be a seperate topic though. Tier IVs are excluded, but higher *tiers* require advanced piloting. Secondly, I still have a question about how the tier exclusion and how advanced piloting works. Still, having baseline imperial vehicles seems to point against this and more towards it just being a mount like in 3. First, how would you go about getting a vehicle for your hero to pilot, and how would you equip it? Is it just like the mounts in 3, where it's purely an item that your hero can equip, or can you make a vehicle, and then have your hero pilot it? The Assault bike we've seen seems to take up a weapons slot, but how did it get there? Was it produced as a unit first then equipped somehow, or was it classified as an item found, or what? I'd think it would be cool if you could just produce a a vehicle as a unit and then just have your hero jump in and pilot it, like if you were to buy a truck from a Spacer dwelling and then "equip" it on your hero. However, I have many questions about how vehicles work and how piloting works. ![]() He's also confirmed that there's a baseline set of imperial vehicles that a hero can pilot for races that don't have many vehicles. ![]() So far, Lennart has confirmed that all tier IV vehicles have been excluded from the pool of vehicles you can pilot, but higher tier vehicles require "advanced piloting" which your hero can only get at around level 10. I have been very curious about the topic of vehicles, and the piloting skill in general ever since I saw a Vanguard Hero in an Assault Bike. ![]()
